
Jr. Farmer Days is a specially designed education program for children ages 6-8. Our goal is to help children connect to farming through talks, videos and hands on experiences. The class is spread over three consecutive Wednesdays in July, running from 10-noon. The cost is $25.00 per child for the total program. Class size is limited to 24. Below is the curriculum and dates for 2009.
July 15th: "The Good Earth" ........getting dirty. (The importance of good soil)
July 22nd: "Know Your Roots"..........all about plants and what/why farmers need to know
July 29th: "Field to Fork" (cooking class with Chef Andrew)

Payment will be due at the time of the first class.
Cancellations: If you need to cancel, it must be done by e-mail by July 1st; otherwise a penalty of $25.00 per child will be charged.
