Taste of Berry Patch. Our taste is “hyper-local” because what we offer is from our farm’s rich organic soil and river valley climate. Whether your into salads from our juicy lettuce joined by a myriad of other veggies or roasted chilies, freshly harvested and roasted before your nose, fragrant sweet melons, our “pepper palooza” of colors and flavors ranging from super sweet to super spicy, richly flavored green, purple, yellow and romano beans, , shiny eggplants, tender okra, delicious tomatoes for every use, sweet onions, crisp cucumbers, salsa bags with fresh cilantro and well, lots of veggies lovingly and laboriously grown and harvested for you. Truth be told, there are no food trucks here, just beautiful flowers, berries and pickles to pick against a lovely mountain backdrop. The only turkey legs are still walking around!
Our market is open Saturday, the 2nd of September, from 8 am until 2 pm. We will be offering all of the above and more, along with the grass-fed and finished beef, totally chemical-free, from Heartsong Farm north of Greeley. We will also be roasting our smoky Sweet Italian peppers and ultra-sweet red Italian bullhorns. We will beclosed Labor Day, but will be laboring as farm work doesn’t take a day off this time of year! We will be open again on Tuesday and Thursday from 8 am until 1 pm, with berry picking on Tuesday only. Berries are coming along but we again suggest that you come as early as possible as the ripe fruit is typically picked by 10 to 10:30 am. Plus, it is cool and beautiful early in the morning.
You are invited to join us as we celebrate and rejoice in the fruits of labor and blessing!
